How it started

Hey y’all! I’m Jay, my wife Jen and I own a food truck. We’ve called Minnesota home for a few years now, but I was born and raised in the heart of Cajun Country! Growing up in south Louisiana and being a part of that rich culture everyday was increcdible. The people are the most unique and genuiune you will ever meet and food and good times are always welcome. It’s common to meet someone new, and the next thing you know, you’re having dinner at their home with family and friends.

Why we do it

This is the tradition my wife and I brought with when we moved and want to share with y’all here in Northern Minnesota. We’ll welcome and greet everyone like family and old friends.

Where it comes from

The dishes I’m cooking and sharing with you are the same ones I grew up cooking and eating with my family. Authentic and traditional recipies mixing flavors of the south and cajun country.

What goes in to our food?

What makes our food extra special, you see, is how we brought the best of the bayou and mixed it with a sprinkle of the Minnesota nice so you’ll have a taste of both worlds with each bite.

A little bit of Louisiana and a little bit of Duluth, all wrapped up in one delicious, soul-warming package.

Next time you find yourself on the shores of Lake Superior, head on over to the orange Cajun food truck and let the good times roll – that big taste of Louisiana is going to make your heart sing.
